About Rochester Health

RochesterHealth.com is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) community-centered website serving as a connection to Rochester-area healthcare resources including physicians, dentists, allied-health professionals, health facilities, medical services, health-related service agencies & disease-oriented support groups and featuring local health-related calendar events, job opportunities and academic programs.

The mission of RochesterHealth.com is to improve access to care in the Rochester area by providing a comprehensive, centralized, up-to-date directory of medical professionals and healthcare services enabling patients and their families to match appropriate healthcare providers and medical services to their specific medical conditions and health concerns.

Rochester Health has been created by RCIPA, a community-wide physician-directed non-profit organization and has earned the endorsement of the Monroe County Medical Society, the Monroe County Department of Health, the Center for Community Health, Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency and the Rochester Academy of Medicine.

Rochester Health Community Advisory Committee

The Rochester Health Community Advisory Committee is comprised of recognized community leaders active across the spectrum of the Rochester healthcare environment. The purpose of the Community Advisory Committee is to lend the collective knowledge and experience of the group to Rochester Health in the design and development of RochesterHealth.com features, functionality and initiatives that will best benefit the Rochester community and to advise Rochester Health on community healthcare issues that may in part be addressed by Rochester Health and its underlying mission.
