Grand Ville Senior Living Community-Short Term Care
The GrandeVille community offers a short-term or "respite-type" service of 7 to 60 days in the assisted living or memory care unit for the senior who is otherwise unable to stay alone. Our program also provides a limited stay for those who may need transitional care from rehab to home. It provides the opportunity of a "trial stay" with permanent residency in mind as well as allowing caregivers the freedom to plan vacations, business trips or well-deserved time for oneself.

Marian's House (an affiliate of Jewish Senior Life)
Marian's House is a contemporary home in a residential neighborhood that offers a retreat for those with memory impairment, and much needed respite for their caregivers. This day retreat is for people with early to mid-stage Alzheimer's and other related dementias, offering meals, activities, supervision and specialized programming in a warm, residential setting. The house is specially designed for both one-on-one interaction and group activities. Respite is also available on weekends only.

Rochester Presbyterian Home Respite Program
The respite program provides temporary care - from 3 days to 6 weeks - and is ideal for elders who need transitional support after an illness. It also allows caregivers to travel, focus on family issues, or just take a much-needed break. Many respite guests enjoy their stay so much they become permanent assisted living residents.
Wesley Gardens Respite Care
Our friendly Rochester establishment will show your loved one kind and compassionate respite care. With a person-centered approach, Wesley Gardens Nursing Home warmly treats all respite guests as individuals. If your loved one prefers retiring to bed after the 11 o'clock news, or enjoys a fresh banana every morning with breakfast, we are more than happy to accommodate. Our professional and caring staff will survey you and your loved one to learn how we can best be of service. Respite evaluations cover a number of areas including: personal interests, physical limitations, diet, medication regimen and regular routine. Our warmhearted staff uses this information to offer care to the entire person--to benefit physical, mental and social well-being. Our expert team includes: on-site physicians, a nurse practitioner, registered nurses, a registered dietician, clergy and social workers.
The RH Senior Health section is overseen by Rochester Geriatrician and Internist Robert McCann, MD.
