| Description: | Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and in accordance with the approved policies and procedures, provides quality nursing care in an effort to promote comfort and healing and achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for the residents or clients served. The registered professional nurse will maintain patient/resident confidentiality. Use the nursing process and approved standards to provide safe and successful quality care. This includes education to patient/resident and family. Will maintain an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education, inservice programs, developmental competencies and self development activities. The RN will demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to the development and support of the LPN, Unit Clerk and CNA staff. They will work as part of the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient/resident outcomes. |
| Education: | Position at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo. D/E or D/N. Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing. Current NYS license to practice professional nursing. |
