Dr. Sandro Popelka earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Benjamin Franklin Clinic at the Free University of Berlin in Germany. He completed his advanced education in general dentistry at Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester and earned his Masters in Public Health (Clinical Investigation Track) at the University of Rochester Department of Community and Preventive Medicine in May 2005. He is currently working toward his PhD in Dental Medicine with the Free University of Berlin Institute for Laser and Medicine Technology. Dr. Popelka stays ahead of evidence-based dentistry through continuously participating in many seminars and continuing education courses, because it is his priority to offer the latest proven techniques, materials and equipment to his patients. Dr. Popelka is an active member of the following organizations: American Dental Association,New York State Dental Association, Monroe County Dental Society, 7th District Dental Society, Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, Fellow of the Misch Implant Institute, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Fellowship status is recognition of extraordinary performance and completion of numerous continuing education courses.
