After growing up in Webster, Dr. Williams completed his education at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Here he graduated cum laude with his B.S (Pre-Med). in 1977 and M.S. (Biochemistry) in 1979. Dr. Williams pursued his doctorate in optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He graduated with honors in 1983. Dr. Williams first met Dr. Reed in 1983 during his last externship at the Wilson Health Center. After serving in the 1st Calvary Division at Ft. Hood, Texas, earning the meritorious service medal, Dr. Williams joined Reed Eye Associates in 1987. For over 25 years his practice focuses on primary care, contact lenses, emergent care and post-operative care.
