Dr. Cook specializes in pediatric orthopaedics, hip dysplasia in children and young adults, and complex hips. Dr. Cook earned his medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. he completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Alberta. Following his residency, Dr. Cook completed a fellowship in orthopaedics and trauma at the University of Alberta and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Cook is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the Canadian Medical Association, and the Canadian Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Cook has authored several articles on the topics of pediatric hips, the pediatric athlete, and pediatric fractures.
