Dr. Holmes is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He received his Ph.D. in anatomy from the University of Maryland, and his M.D. from the Chicago Medical School. Following his residency in pediatrics at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Holmes spent a year as a critical care fellow at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital. As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, Dr. Holmes actively teaches medical students and pediatric residents at Strong and RGH, and sees newborns at Strong and RGH.
