Ron graduated with honors receiving a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy with a minor in biology from Daemen College, and went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University. His work experience has been in both the hospital and outpatient settings. Beyond his traditional education, he has taken graduate course work in exercise physiology, and biomechanics. Ron is a diplomat of the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in both orthopaedic and geriatric physical therapy. He is also Certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, which is the credentialing program for the McKenzie approach to the spine. Ron is a member of the Orthopaedic section of the APTA, NYPTA and Physical Therapy Alliance of Upstate New York (PTAUNY).  Beyond his clinical practice, Ron is an adjunct professor in the physical therapy department at Nazareth College and has been involved in research on lower back pain. He was the co-investigator and recipient of a grant from the New York Physical Therapy Association for this work. Some of their findings have been presented at both the state and national levels.
