Dr. A. David Peter was born in India and grew up in Wisconsin and Indiana. He attended Purdue University in Indiana for his undergraduate studies and Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis for his medical training. He completed his internship and residency at UPMC-Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA in General Surgery. Following completion of residency, Dr. Peter began his career at the Alle-Kiski Hospital in the West Penn Allegheny Health System in the Pittsburgh area for two years prior to beginning his practice at the Canandaigua Medical Group in November of 2012. Dr. Peter is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery.
