Location Comments: The Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is an interdisciplinary division of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center. We are the academic home of the Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities, a federally designated University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). We collaborate with other divisions, departments and schools at the University of Rochester and other area institutions of higher learning for service, training and research. Our Mission is to be a leader in professional education, state-of-the-art service, community education and pioneering research in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and the support of people with developmental disabilities. Our Vision is for children and adolescents with developmental, physical and behavioral disorders to have the opportunity to grow into adults with fulfilling and independent lives as active and fully participating members of their communities.
