Dr. Klein is a Rochester native and graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School. He attended the College of William and Mary and went on to earn his medical degree at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. After completing his ophthalmology residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, he entered private practice in Chicago and Northwestern Indiana. In addition to his clinical practice he was an instructor of ophthalmology at Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. Dr. Klein is licensed in New York and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He provides a full range of clinical services from routine eye care to the medical management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other eye diseases. In addition, Dr. Klein provides surgical treatment in the management of cataracts as well as laser therapy for a variety of conditions. He enjoys teaching and takes a team-centered approach to patient care, working with primary care providers and specialists from many disciplines.
