Mike graduated more than 28 years ago from SUNY Buffalo with a dual major in Physical Therapy & Exercise Science. He became an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 1995 and in 2004 obtained Board Certified Sports Physical Therapy Specialist status. Mike later underwent the 10 month Gray Institute Fellowship in Applied Functional Science (FAFS). He is distinguished as the only FAFS trained PT in Monroe County and surrounding areas with this specialty training in biomechanics, functional evaluation, problem solving and exercise design. Mike completed the Nike Golf Performance Specialist certification training in 2012. He also completed Excellus's Spine Pathway training program in 2015. Mike has shared his knowledge and experiences with other professionals through his own seminars in Western New York as well as at conferences locally, regionally, at the state level and even at the National APTA Conference in 2000. He has also served as a guest presenter for Ithaca College and Nazareth College's PT programs. Mike and Karen have taught at the High Peaks Elite Running Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid for a number of years now.
