Dr. Kindel grew up in southeastern Connecticut. She received her undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry from Virginia Tech and the degree of Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut. Her residency training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics was completed at the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Kindel is a member of both the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. She holds teaching appointments in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester.

Location Comments: We aim to provide the very best of healthcare services to infants, children, adolescents and adults in a family-oriented practice setting. We place a strong emphasis on preventive healthcare services and are readily available for illnesses, injury prevention and treatment be they biologic, behavioral or social. We encompass areas of childhood nutrition, development, growth and maturation dealing with a broad range of disease prevention and treatment, using lifestyles, diet and exercise in addition to traditional medical treatments. We have strong ties to the community and provide opportunities for medical education and research through the University of Rochester and other schools of higher medical education, including medical residents, medical students, physician assistant, and nursing students. Our physicians and staff are committed to providing high quality medical services to our patients.
