Dr. Chris Pollack grew up outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate, he attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where he received a B.A. degree in Psychology. Dr. Pollack then studied Clinical Psychology at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Following this, he traveled back across the country to Rochester, New York, for an internship in Child and Adolescent Psychology at the University of Rochester Medical School with additional study in the area of Neuropsychology. Dr. Pollack was invited to stay on at the medical school for advanced training during a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in child, adolescent, and family treatment. In 1999, Dr. Pollack opened a private practice with my office located at a pediatric group in Rochester, in order to better integrate mental health care with traditional health care treatment.
