Dr. Hopson is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. While at O.C.P.M., Dr. Hopson was a member of the Pi Delta National Honor Society. Following podiatry school, Dr. Hopson completed a three-year residency program under the Yale/VA Connecticut Healthcare System in New Haven, CT. Dr. Hopson received both primary podiatric medical training, as well as advanced surgical training in foot and ankle surgery. During his residency, there was an emphasis placed on diabetic and non-diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgical techniques. Dr. Hopson has extensive forefoot and rearfoot surgical experience, working under a multi-disciplinary team approach. Dr. Hopson, who attended St. John Fisher College, returns to the Finger Lakes Region to continue his interest in these areas at Interlakes Orthopaedic Surgery, P.C. Dr. Hopson is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, New York Podiatric Medical Association, as well as the American Diabetes Association.
