When things are difficult, it can be demoralizing and overwhelming. This can isolate us, drain our emotional reserves, and limit our ability to look at things in new ways. I work to help clients appreciate the depth of their experience, and support them toward personal strength and healthier relationships. My style is open, collaborative, direct, and supportive. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years in private practice. I also serve as adjunct faculty at the University of Rochester's Counseling Center, where I teach and supervise professionals in training. I bring a range of approaches, but tailor my work to the specific needs of each client. The individuals I see have a wide range of presenting issues, including loss and trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, chronic illness, infertility, management of difficult relationships, and the concerns of artists and musicians.
