Dr. Magyar received her doctoral degree in Clinical/School Psychology from Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY and completed a pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute for Behavior Therapy in New York City where she continued to practice until relocating to Rochester in 1999. She specializes in the assessment and treatment of adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders, with or without mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. She also provides autism spectrum evaluations for individuals seeking to apply for NYS social services through the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
