Adam J. Doyle, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery received his BS in Biological Sciences from Cornell University with a concentration in Animal Physiology, graduating Magna Cum Laude with distinction in research. Dr. Doyle then earned his medical degree with distinction in research from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He was awarded several prestigious honors during medical school, including the Class of 1954 Scholarship and the Society for Vascular Surgery Medical Student Scholarship Award. After medical school, Dr. Doyle completed a Residency and Research Fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is currently a Certified Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation and is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in New York. Dr. Doyle's surgical interests center on the comprehensive treatment of all aspects of arterial and venous vascular disease, including the medical, catheter-based and traditional surgical treatments. His research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Annals of Vascular Surgery and Journal of Vascular Surgery. His research interests include the study of thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS), central venous obstruction, Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), carotid artery stenosis, vascular imaging, patient related outcomes, and quality improvement.
