Dr. Klein is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry and completed her residency in optometry at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she specialized in primary eye care and ocular disease. After relocation to the Chicago area, she provided primary eye care through the Veterans Administration and private practice. During this time she was a part-time faculty member at the Illinois College of Optometry where she supervised fourth-year residents in a primary eye care setting. Dr. Klein has experience caring for a diverse population emphasizing the optometric management of glaucoma, uveitis, diabetes and the co-management with ophthalmologists of surgical cases. She been an active participant in the American Academy of Optometry and has made presentations and lectures at national and regional optometric meetings. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is licensed to practice optometry by the New York State Office of the Professions.
