Dr. Hamer is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Cardiology Division. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed his internal medicine training at the University of Rochester Medical Center and his Cardiology and Clinical Electrophysiology fellowships at Duke University. He joined the faculty at URMC in 2015. Dr. Hamer is an expert in complete management of pacemakers, defibrillators and resynchronization devices. He specializes in treatment of patients with arrythmias. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
