Dr. Hindman is a clinician scientist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of corneal diseases, cataract, dry eye, and refractive error. Her research is focused on understanding the biological basis of the disease processes and the associated impact on ocular optics. Dr. Hindman is a Rochester, NY native who returned to the area after completing her education at Stanford University and Harvard Medical School and her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University. She completed her fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive surgery at the Flaum Eye Institute. Dr. Hindman's expertise is in the management of corneal diseases, cataract, dry eye, and refractive error.
