Dr. Sahler was raised in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey and completed his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York. Dr. Sahler went on to complete a Ph.D. in Cell Physiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo before performing his residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, the University of Rochester's Strong Memorial Hospital, and Highland Hospital in Rochester, New York. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is currently a member of the American College of Physicians, the New York State Medical Society, and the Ontario County Medical Society.
