Dr. Montesano received his undergraduate and Master degrees from the SUNY at Buffalo. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Ancona, Italy and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. He is interested in emergency medical services (EMS). He served as an EMT, Paramedic, and volunteer firefighter in Western New York. Dr. Montesano volunteered with NATO and the UN during the Bosnian Conflict, helping refugees and assisting in military air medical evacuations. For his efforts, he was awarded the Air Command Commander's Commendation by the Canadian Ambassador to Italy. He is currently the Advanced Life Support Medical Director for Victor-Farmington ambulance and Naples ambulance. He also serves on the Finger Lakes Emergency Medical Services council.
