Healthcare Directory—Clinical Interests/Keywords & Provider Profile
Attention: Rochester-area physicians, dentists & allied-healthcare professionals...
Rochester-area residents and prospective patients can now search on healthcare professionals based on clinical interests/keywords. Rochester-area healthcare professionals can submit a provider professional profile and clinical interests/keywords directly to Rochester Health for display in the RH Healthcare Directory. Please see the side-bar for explanations of provider profiles and keywords. Clinical interest/keywords can either be selected from the pre-populated list and/or entered manually. Providers can also add a picture to a directory listing...adding a picture to a directory listing.
Physicians, dentists and allied-healthcare professionals can have their picture displayed in their directory listing. Pictures can only display the provider, i.e. no group pictures, pictures can be in color or black and white, pictures must be in .jpg, .bmp or .tiff image format; Rochester Health will re-size pictures as necessary to comply with technical requirements. To submit your directory listing picture please email Rochester Health at joindirectory@rochesterhealth.com and attach your picture; please include in the email the provider's full name and Individual NPI.
About Clinical Interest/Keywords
Clinical interests/keywords (health conditions, medical procedures and other health topics that may not be explicitly inferred from a provider's medical specialty) assist prospective patients in searching/filtering Rochester-area healthcare professionals based on health conditions, medical procedures and healthcare topics of particular interest or concern. Clinical interests/keywords are generally not routine health conditions/medical procedures normally associated with or implied by a provider's medical specialty, rather clinical interests/keywords are conditions/procedures/topics that are of particular interest to a provider by virtue of ad hoc training, clinical research or practice experience.
About Provider Professional Profile
The provider professional profile is a brief narrative synopsis (1–3 paragraphs) including educational and training background, memberships in professional associations, career highlights and should elaborate/expand/support clinical interests/keywords selected. Rochester Health suggests each clinical interest/keyword chosen be referenced in some capacity in the provider professional profile as practicality and brevity allows. The provider profile is not per se a curriculum vitae rather the profile is intended to be a brief introduction/overview for prospective patients.
About RH Healthcare Directory
The RH Healthcare Directory is an on-line resource for the Rochester Community representing a comprehensive listing of healthcare providers, medical services and health resources. The RH Healthcare Directory listings are limited to the Rochester Health service area of the Greater-Rochester area consisting of the following counties: Monroe, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, Orleans and Wayne; all physicians, dentists and allied-healthcare professionals practicing in these counties are welcome to participate in the directory.
