Mental Health Residential Programs are operated in six counties in Western New York. They encompass varying levels of care including Supervised Community Residences for adults (congregate care), Treatment Apartments and Independent Supported Apartments with case management. DePaul also has five Single Room Occupancy (SRO) programs.

Location Comments: Supervised Community Residences (Congregate Care): Supervised Community Residences provide a comprehensive level of staff support and supervision, while encouraging independence, in a program licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. This program is often the entry point to all certified programs, and offers 24-hour on-site staffing, room and board, staff support and case management. To further enhance self-esteem and growth, an emphasis is also placed on consumer involvement in activities outside the residential setting including day treatment programs, vocational programs, school, competitive employment, and non-competitive employment. This level of care is provided in Monroe, Wayne, Erie, Genesee, and Wyoming counties. |
