Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance provides free Basic Life Support services to everyone in the Town of
Pittsford. PVA also provides ambulance coverage to the towns of Brighton, East Rochester, Henrietta,
Honeoye Falls/Mendon, Perinton when the home agency’s crews are unavailable, or additional resources are needed.

Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance, Inc. is a non-profit, 100% volunteer ambulance organization operating in the Town of Pittsford, New York; a community located in southeast Monroe County, near Rochester. PVA provides Emergency Medical Services and medical equipment to approximately 27,000 residents and covers over 24 square miles. PVA is part of the Monroe County EMS System supported by the Office of Emergency Communications and mutual aid network.

Location Comments: Advanced Life Support (ALS) We work with Paramedics from a variety of agencies, primarily the Southeast Quadrant Mobile Critical Care Unit (SEQ MCCU), to provide Advanced Life Support procedures (EKG, IV placement, intubation, as well as other procedures) and medications to the patient. The ALS agencies charge for these services.
