Location Comments: The Pluta Cancer Center specializes in the treatment of a variety of malignant diseases in adults. These include tumors of the gastrointestinal tract, colorectal and lung cancers, head and neck cancers, and cancers of the lymph nodes and blood. Other specialties include the treatment of gynecological and breast cancers in females and prostate cancers in males. Pluta provides for both radiation and chemotherapy on site using state-of-the-art equipment; dual energy linear accelerator, 3-D treatment planning and high dose brachytherapy enable such procedures as MammoSite® radiation therapy for breast cancer and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT).
