Location Comments: The mission of the Lipson Cancer Center is to provide the highest quality of medical care in a compassionate and timely fashion. We are committed to advancing cancer prevention, education, diagnosis, treatments and research to provide patients with access to promising and innovative therapy. Supporting an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to cancer services, we strive to insure the needs for cancer care within our community are continuously being met. Our Cancer Care Team: Rochester General Hospital's team of cancer care experts includes oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, nurses, therapists, physicists, pharmacists, social workers and support staff. We work closely with you and your primary care physician, so that together, we can determine the most effective and appropriate care. Providing for the physical and emotional needs of every patient, we also offer nutrition counseling, physical therapy, psychosocial assistance, pastoral care and home care. We also offer the area's only hemophilia center, the Mary M. Gooley Hemophilia Center, conveniently located at Rochester General.
