UR Medicine Labs is a full-service, not-for-profit laboratory that serves customers throughout the country. We are the largest medical lab in our region, with over 950 laboratory professionals. UR Medicine Labs is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by both laboratory professionals and customer service representatives. Testing is performed around-the-clock as specimens arrive to minimize turnaround time. We have over 20 clinical labs to provide the sub-specialty focus our customers require. UR Medicine Labs is directed by certified pathologists and clinical scientists who are nationally and internationally recognized in their fields.  At UR Medicine Labs, we are committed to providing laboratory services of the highest quality and reliability. We offer the widest ranges of tests in the region, with a full complement of diagnostic services in anatomic and clinical pathology. Quality assurance efforts occur at multiple checkpoints throughout all parts of our laboratories. Carefully designed courier routes with GPS monitoring ensure that shipments are quickly picked up from our customers. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by both laboratory professionals and customer service representatives. Our laboratory technical staff is thoroughly trained on every instrument and well-rehearsed in best practice techniques and methodologies. We offer 25 lab service locations to meet the needs of physicians both within and outside the Rochester community. UR Medicine Labs is directed by certified pathologists and clinical scientists who are national and international experts with numerous published articles to their credit.
