Female urinary incontinence (especially after childbirth) is more common that you might think. It is also a problem that can be treated for most women - even elderly women. In a 2005 survey*, over 38 percent of the women who responded noted that they had dealt with at least one episode of urine leakage in the past year. Of those women, 13.7 percent suffered with this problem daily and by age 85, 21 percent of women are affected daily by this embarrassing problem that can significantly impact their activities and emotional well-being. That's why, Dr. Ralph Madeb, Urologist, will speak about this very important topic.

"Urinary incontinence costs women and their families a great deal when you consider all of the ways that it impacts them," said Dr. Madeb. "They often limit exercise and physical activity due to this problem. Trips and activities are planned around being near a bathroom; the financial cost of products to stay dry and hospital stays due to this problem are enormous. The good news is that most women can be successfully treated - we have many options to treat the different reasons for incontinence. Come and learn more.

Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. At the event, you can learn about this topic while enjoying a glass of champagne punch and some very special hors d'oeuvres and chocolate selections. Reservations are required. Call toll-free 1-877-922-LINK (5465) for information or to sign-up. Register today! Seating is limited!
