The program titled "Teenage Depression - the Symptoms and Treatments" will be held on Wednesday, April 7th at the Rochester General Medical Group Office at 12 Leach Road in Lyons.
The presentation will start at 6:00 pm sharp and parents will be given the chance to ask questions. Light refreshments will be served.
"The teen years can be confusing for both teens and their parents," said Dr. Jehan. "Changes in behavior and attitude are a normal part of the teenage behavior. I've found that many parents would like help identifying normal behavior from behavior that could cause serious problems for teens. Information on treatments and services that are available will also be covered."
Dr. Jehan completed Family Medicine residency training at the Family and Preventive Medicine practice at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, A.K. She earned her Medical Degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and completed an Internal Medicine/Surgery internship at Civil Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan.
