In addition to touring the facility, the public will have the opportunity to explore a variety of emergency response vehicles including Ambulances, Fire Trucks, and Advanced Life Support fly cars, including the equipment they carry. Volunteers from the Penfield and Webster Fire Departments will take part in an auto extrication demonstration.
Volunteers will be on hand to offer free blood pressure screening, and residents will have the opportunity to register for a chance to receive free CPR training (twenty residents will be selected at random). Guest speakers include representatives from the Monroe County 911 Center.
There will be lots of giveaways for the kids as well as free hot dogs and soft drinks for everyone while they last.
