Specialty designer MacKenzie-Childs is helping find cures for cancer by hosting a benefit for the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center on Sunday. The Aurora specialty shop, located at 3260 State Route 90, is holding a sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and a portion of the day's total sales will support research and patient care programs.

The popular designer, known for its whimsical style, will offer the Wilmot Shopping Event sale pricing in the store and phone orders at (315) 364-6118.

Shoppers will enjoy champagne and can win a gift card during a 3 p.m. drawing.
