The Lupus Foundation of Genesee Valley NY, Inc. is a not for profit 501 (c) (3) organization and our mission is: "To serve as a community resource to provide information and support to those affected by Lupus." We promote programs for public and professional education about Lupus; provide patient education and support to individuals impacted by this disease; encourage local research to discover causes and improve methods of diagnosis and treatment of Lupus; and collaborate with local health organizations to improve the quality of life of those dealing with Lupus. We also promote public awareness, and advocate on behalf of Lupus individuals. Our website offers additional information and links to reliable resources.
