This Wellness Program is a small group program designed for adult cancer survivors dealing with the aftereffects of cancer treatment.

The 12-week program utilizes a private, non-intimidating circuit style that helps participants build strength, increase flexibility and endurance and ultimately improve quality of life. Additional goals include reducing the side effects of treatment, preventing unwanted weight changes and improving energy levels and self-esteem.

The program consists of one 12-week session. Classes meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning 4/13/2010 from 5:30PM-6:45PM.

The program is provided without cost to participants. The YMCA provides trained instructors, the facility and the equipment.

Registration and Information: To participate in the Rochester program, please contact Deb Duffy at 585-227-3900 or debd@rochesterymca.org.
