Lifespan has hosted a Celebration of Aging, a community luncheon that calls attention to second half of life role models, since 1995.
More than 1200 people attended the 2009 Celebration of Aging with guest speaker Dr. Ruth Westheimer. Other past speakers have included Julia Child, Lee Trevino, Helen Thomas, Marv Levy, General Chuck Yeager, Ed Koch, author George Plimpton, Eartha Kitt, Hugh Downs, Carol Channing, Della Reese and Olympia Dukakis.
Tickets are $55 per person or $500 for a table of ten.
