Parents have the opportunity to share their frustrations, fears, and accomplishments in a supportive environment. They can meet other families dealing with the same food allergies and trade successful strategies.

Meetings and membership in the group are free, but donations are gladly accepted. The donations help to cover operating expenses.

Child care is available upon request. The church's nursery is "allergy sensitive" and safe for food allergic children. The teenagers who care for the children have been educated about food allergies. The parents who use this service need to RSVP to Joy Leinenbach (ejleinenbach@gmail.com) or (joy@factsplace.com) with the number of children so that the appropriate number of sitters will be there. The parents are also responsible for paying the sitters.
