The Diabetes Support Group will meet Wednesday, August 18, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the M. M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua. This group is for people with Type 2 diabetes and their families. The goal is to provide those living with diabetes opportunities for learning, sharing and support. This month's topic is "Conversation Map: Monitoring Your Blood Glucose." Jane Hallstead, RN, MSN, facilitates the group. Registration is required but there is no charge for this program.
