Free Diabetes Community Program with speaker, Rose Copper-Brown, RD CDE. Putting it all together with healthier food choices and balanced meals. Will include recipes and ideas for healthy eating with diabetes, along with some vegetarian components for consideration. RSVP required. The Regional Diabetes Health Center at Clifton Springs Hospital provides outpatient diabetes educational programs and services to residents of the Finger Lakes region. Additionally, we provide specialized inpatient services within our hospital setting. Our diabetes educators are nurses and a dietitian who are all Certified Diabetes Educators. The Clifton Springs Hospital Diabetes Self-Management Education Program has been Recognized by the American Diabetes Association for providing Quality Self-Management Education in accordance with the National Standards for Diabetes Patient Education Programs. The center is also affiliated with Healthways, Inc., the country's largest provider of specialized diabetes services.
