Thompson Health’s Diabetes Support Group will meet Wednesday, March 19, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the RG&E Room at the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center, 350 Parrish St., Canandaigua. This meeting’s topic is Thompson’s new online program for planning healthy meals, My Health eRecipes. Linda Rowsick, a registered dietitian and certified dietitian nutritionist with Thompson, will do a demonstration of the free program.
This group is for people with Type 2 diabetes and their families. The goal is to provide those living with diabetes opportunities for learning, sharing and support. Jane Hallstead, RN, MSN, CDE, facilitates the group. RSVPs are appreciated. Call (585) 396-6233 to register.
