One in nine Americans has kidney disease and most don't know it. Find out if you are at risk. The National Kidney Foundation is offering a free kidney check-up through its KEEP Healthy program.
Participants will answer a brief health risk survey and have their height, weight and blood pressure measured. A medical professional will be on-site to review results and provide more information. Anyone with diabetes, high blood pressure or a family history of kidney failure is encouraged to attend. To register for KEEP Healthy, contact Elissa Rowley, Program Assistant for the National Kidney Foundation at 585.598.3963 ext. 31 or elissa.rowley@kidney.org.
