Have a great time while raising funds for children and adults with disabilities and special needs in the Rochester community.
Walkers and rollers enjoy parading along the indoor walk route for free Halloween candy and giveaways, complimentary face painting, live entertainment and the good feeling that comes with helping others. Vote for your favorite scarecrow in the Scarecrow Village and mingle with your media friends from Channel 8.
Participants are encouraged to dress in costume and stick around after WalkAbout for the costume contest at 11:00 a.m. Prizes will be awarded in various categories.
All participants that turn in $25 will get a 2010 WalkAbout t-shirt!
We hope this year the event will be even bigger and raise more money for the disabled community in Rochester, NY!
